Sometimes I use the game maker or rpg maker to pass the time and I started to observe the stages of Power Bomberman, so I created a template 16x16 for stages just to play a little, lol, I ended up having some ideas of stages, I'll leave some prototypes here.

The head is bigger, use the saturn bomberman sprite as a base!

I did use the saturn bomberman sprite as a base
there's no rule saying that making the head slightly bigger is wrong
plus it fits in the 32x32 space used for characters

I'm not saying it's a rule to use the big head, but it's more similar, and to make the bomberman atomic over the bomberman white sprite, you can see the difference!

Please visit the Discord for Power Bomberman if you want to make a sprite sheet for a character, in order to confirm who is already implemented in the next version of the game before starting anything. (Or just please ask Jaklub directly.)

I have an idea for a stage where there's different coloured soft blocks. for example if there are 4 blue blocks right next to each other, you can blow one of them up and all 4 blow up.
I can explain it more if you want. :)

Hi everyone. Today we find this great game, but in ONLINE mode host play normaly, but others JOIN peoples have trouble with control, some delay. Can it fix or not by myself? Or need new version?

Thanks for replying. Due to the way netplay works in current public build, some delay is unfortunately expected. This is being worked on.

If you're asking about the delay in the current version, there isn't a whole lot you can do on your own unfortunately. Try shutting down the bandwidth-consuming programs.

· Place the bomb 500 times
· Break 500 soft blocks
· Get 25 items
· Win 2 consecutive victories with battle
· Win a total of 10 times with a battle
· Kill 25 opponents
(Count only for actions that the player made)

There is "level" in the mission, and when the condition is satisfied Lv goes up and the necessary number to satisfy the condition increases.

In "Taisen! Bomberman" you get reward every time you make Lv ups,
How about using "Power Bomberman" as a character unlock condition?

That mission system looks like it could tie in decently with a certain new feature.

What do you think of including pets like these too?


What do you think of the idea of each character having a special ability?


Is the selection screen missing some characters or do I need to enable it?

Wide mode has a few stages, it would be a good idea to include more stages for the battle mode to be more fun in this mode.

Considering the number of characters in the next version, it is very unlikely.

Complete the Battle Trials to unlock the characters or use the Konami Code on the title screen to unlock them temporarily until you shut the game down.

Hello there. I've played through the most recent version. Excellent stuff, and looks beautiful. I haven't read through all the comments so some of these things may have already been addressed, but I'm basically looking for a replica of the Saturn battle mode. Shame there wasn't an option in this for the original battle mode as well as the remastered version. Such things as...

- the blocks don't form a square at the end of the level before getting crushed (the narrow margin in this make it difficult to manoeuvre)
- the characters already start quite rapid and the skates don't seem to make a huge difference
- bomb kick is extremely fast and tough to stop where you want it
- having the pre-selected original battle mode power ups without having to select them yourself would be great
- an all green background level would be good, to match the original

Thanks for playing. Please note that the game is not supposed to be a straight remade version of Saturn Bomberman and will not be exactly tweaked to match its gameplay - if you're looking for accurate SB experience on PC, Mednafen and SSF are better bets. Also, the speed-up items make a much bigger difference if you toggle the speed setting in the battle setup menu.
