Tis true. I enjoyed Hero and 64 so much that I got it for my birthday one year. It's arguably my favorite Bomberman game.

I asked my brother and he said each plush was $15 USD a piece.

These are awesome, and adorable.

(I also didn't play these games until years after they came out, but that's because we had a PSX instead of a N64.  )

Obligatory obscenity-filled squeeing about how cute those Elemental Knight dolls are.

How big are they? They look a little like tiny voodoo doll size.

I didn't ever own BM64 until years after it got released (though I played it once at a not-cousin's house), but I bought Hero and TSA not long after I saw the Nintendo Power articles about them. For TSA I even ended up dragging one of my non-gamer friends to a Gamestop or someplace similar after 7th or 8th grade let out for the summer because I wanted TSA ASAP. And then I made her play Pommy with me while she waited to be picked up from my house by her mom, lol.

As many of you know, I recently played through a lot of the mobile Bomberman titles. Here's a link to my playlist if you wanna scan through them and watch them at your leisure: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnbb6NNT9hUZHuhMoq_g4bW2c5beiiRqG

Recently I decided to purchase Bomberman N-Gage, after seeing a factory sealed copy listed on ebay. Below is a link to a file where I scanned the manual, box, and cartridge of this obscure game. I still need to buy an actual N-Gage and once I do, I might be able to record some crappy gameplay footage for us to enjoy.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/8jx3e8uxwiiv228/Bomberman%20N-Gage%20Manual%20and%20Box.7z?dl=0

While I was at it, I purchased this random magazine page that had an advertisement for Bomberman Mobile games on it.

Thanks so much for scanning all this!

My word, those bosses... are some of the most basic-looking Bomberman bosses. And the names! (Given that the tree is once again "Trent", I don't doubt the authenticity of the localization...)

The secret stages and secret items are intriguing, and I'd like to know more...

Also interesting is the way they've split the Louies up into three distinct items. I wonder why that is? It seems like a strange decision, but it's got my gears turning... there's a neat gimmick hiding in this concept, I just know it.

Lastly, can we all just stop and appreciate how utterly goofy the Skull item panel looks in this game?

(Er... lastly lastly, just got to note the repurposing of those three old Bomberman renders again, on pages 8, 11, and 12. I can never remember where they originated, though I know the first two showed up in the Fantasy Race guidebook 6 years earlier. You can tell that the art drawn specifically for this game on page 5 is completely different, though.)

I actually bought this when I was much younger, I think off ebay or something. I did not realize it wasn't an official guide because at the time I did not understand what 'unauthorized' meant.

I actually just realized, I never took the time to share stuff I noticed playing Panic Bomber for PSP! I beat it forever go but forgot to post stuff so let's go for it.

[Collapse] Panic Bomber PSP
There's not a lot of unique modes in this game. You have a main game and a challenge mode so nothing too fancy there. In the main game you compete against the other colored Bomberman: Green, Red, Blue, and Black. Once you beat all of them, you unlock a Hige Hige Bandit to battle!

Each character has five pre-set stages you must beat. Basically it starts you off with a unique handicap on your board so each match takes a different strategy to overcome. The Hige alone was really tough! Just take a look at the Level 5 match against the Hige!

Spoiler:

Spoiler:

So again, nothing too fancy. Once you beat them, you get a decent credits sequence. I thought it was pretty neat.

As you go along, completing the main mode and the challenge mode, you unlock multiple extras. You can have different background, music, borders for the puzzle area, and even change the Bomberman heads themselves! Below are some GIFs of all the unlockable heads and they are pretty cool!

How fun! Just look at all this silliness! It definitely makes the game feel quite different. On that note, here's what the regular faces look like. They are well animated and gives the game a sense of charm.

It was a bit of a fresh approach in some ways, by having levels and letting you choose when to challenge them. It was also excellent all the customization that went into this game but overall, it was a lot more of the same.

Greetings all! Here's some more crap to share with you. In the link below is what I call the Bomberman Emulation pack.

Basically it features a lot of roms (isos, etc. whatever) of some of the most obscure Bomberman games. Some of the games feature emulators and again, I usually threw those in for the obscure games just to make it easier to move along with. Some emulators may already be unzipped. I mostly just copied these straight from my archive.

It's not complete, as I was mostly going for the rare stuff, but it's something we can all hold on to and share as need be, to help preserve some of these really obscure games. I will comment that the iPhone games (Touch and Touch 2) don't have an emulator. I had to put those on my iPhone and record from there but hey, at least the roms work!

A brief disclaimer: all these files were virus free and worked fine for me but check them and use them at your own discretion. Please let me know if anything goes wonky!

Now here's a list of the games:

Bomberman Blast Japan (Wii)
Bomberman Land 2 (Gamecube)
Bomberman Kart (PS2)
Bomberman Kart DX (PS2)
Bomberman Hardball (PS2)
Bomberman Land 3 (PS2)

All the J2me games I posted videos of (3D Atomic, 3D 2009, Deluxe, Kart, Panic, Pinball, Puzzle, Reloaded, Super)

Touch 1 and 2 (iOS)
100 Person Bomberman (Android)
Bomberman and Vs. Bomberman for Android are in there somewhere

Bomberman 3D, Special, Bomber Man, and Bomber King for MSX

Bomberman (Sharp MZ-800)

Bomberman '08 (The one BakuBonba shared previously)

Bomber Man (X68000)

Bomberman (ZX Spectrum)

Hey gang! I'm in need of your help! Recently I've been playing Bomberman Wii (the Japanese one.) I finished playing through the game twice and there are some challenges left to complete but only one problem, I can't read Japanese!

Below is a link to a video I took that has the list of all 100+ challenges. I've figured out that the top one for each individual list is a time based one, so no worries there. There's also an image enclosed that pointed out I unlocked something after beating a certain number of challenges. I'm not sure what, so if someone wants to take a look that'd be swell.

If anyone can help me out, it'd make my day! After all, I'd love to see what happens when I clear them all.

Hey everyone! I finally compiled a lot of my recent Bomberman footage into some bulky files for you. What I've been doing is, on top of uploading videos of playthroughs and other compilations of Bomberman, I've been recording videos and taking screenshots of many other elements of the following games. This includes Intro and Ending cutscenes, funny moments and generally anything that seemed to stand out a bit during the game.

These packs do not include the playthroughs or compilations from Youtube. It would just make these files way too massive. They were recorded in 1080p at 60 fps (or close to that) so while they are large, they are the highest quality possible. Feel free to use these, share these or just hoard them for archival purposes. I want to share them in efforts to help keep Bomberman more well known than it already is. If you really feel like crediting me (which by means anyone really is) you can just link them to my channel or something.

Anyway, here's the packs and their respective sizes.

Hello everyone! I'm proud to announce the near completion of a big project: The Bomberman Manuals Project. Basically, I've been working with Ragey (and with some help from our ol' pal Plasma) to compile and scan as many Bomberman manuals as possible. The pack is hit/miss on the box arts and cartridges/CDs because it's mainly focusing on the manuals themselves but I'm open to the idea of adding more of them.

The pack I've created includes what I believe to be all of the US manuals, many of the European ones, and nearly all of the Japanese ones. I plan on submitting this to as many places as possible on the internet to help further archive/preserve Bomberman's legacy. I would to massively thank Ragey for his work as this project was 90% him. I mainly organized it all and scanned ones we were missing on the US side. There was also contribution from Plasma as I mentioned with a few much needed US manuals.

Anyway, I'd like to submit this to the community for review. Feel free to dump critiques here and be honest. Note any organizational issues, missing manuals/boxes/carts and we'll see if we can improve this further. Once the pack is completed as is, I'll start sharing it around. I plan on releasing a second pack later on, should more manuals come along in time.

Lastly let me post this tentative list of manuals we already know we need. The games with cameos/references to Bomberman have not yet been included.

PC: Bomberman Collection Vol. 2 (Japanese)
GB: Blaster Master Jr. (European)
PS1: Bomberman Wars (Japanese)
GCN: Bomberman Jetters (Japanese)
GBA: Bomberman Max 2 Red & Blue (European)
DS: Bomberman Land Touch (European)
DS: Bomberman Land Touch 2 (European)
WII: Bomberman Land Wii (European)

EDIT: Now there's two links, one for the total package and the other for individual folders.

Folders:

Greetings again all! I've been delving mercilessly lately into the world of Bomberman references. Thanks in big part to the crossover wiki, I discovered that an anime called Virus Buster Serge has a cameo by Bomberman! Interestingly, the series began as a video game for the Sega Saturn and was created by Hudson Soft, so the anime that followed makes a little more sense for the sudden cameo. Anyway, here's a GIF!

[Collapse Text]

EDIT: Here's the video form of the clip for those who would like to see it.

I also scanned some of the Super Famicom ones that are there, way back in the day, and one or two other JP manuals as well. There were comparatively slim pickings in those times. Thinking back to then, it's amazing to see this wealth of info come together now! Thanks to both of you, and big ups!! :peace:

(...If this had existed like ~8 years ago, I probably would have fainted from excitement.)

Also, that GIF is incredible.

Greetings all. I took the time to sift through the entire pack, take a few notes from the community, and add as many box arts as I possibly could. I now give you, the finished product. It's not 100% and I doubt it ever will be, but this is a Hell of a start. It's now available in two forms: the complete pack and individual folders. So you can either download the entire thing or browse the MEGA folders and pick and choose at your leisure. Hooray!

Hello again friends. Today I have a few things worth sharing. I finally got an HDMI splitter which would allow me to record footage from my PS3. I recorded Bomberman Ultra, showing off all the costumes in a video. Not only that, but I took screenshots of all the costumes as well as the loading screens they appear in (as many as I could tolerate to anyway.)

I recently ordered an Xbox 360 just so I could play Live and Live Battlefest. How obsessed am I? Anyway, shortly after setting it up, I recorded the store pages for said games. I have to apologize in advance for the crackly audio on the Act Zero trailer. I have no idea why it did that but at least we have the trailer recorded now.

Expect more costumes to become revealed in due time.
