These pics proves that something like this can ONLY come from Nintendo! ^^

(Someone resize them please, thanks!)

I suggest you read the stories about it completely before making assumptions.

I had alot of doubts at first and thought it was gonna be a total failure but after watching a video and reading more I think it may work. But I'll have to wait and see some games and try it out for myself first.

Good lord that better not be the only controler they use, that looks like a royal fricken pain, especially for oldschool games. I don't hate the idea exactly, it could work for alot of games, but if they don't allow me to get classic pads, or just pads, i wont want a revolution.

This nintendo revolution control has really got me pissed, and the commercial they showed on the video and what all it can do only shows that its just one big marcketing gimmick. Its the same with the ps3 and it's boomerang shapped control... there so upsessed with making all the latest game systems hip and different, while there really only fad's. Before i saw what the control looked like, i actually thought that the nintendo revolution sounded like it was going to be preety cool, but now it sounds like its going to be a total flop. Nintendo has been bad about the lame gimmicks, like the nintendo ds and the game boy micro, which are only causing nintendo to go down the drain...

You all need to cool down, if you would take the time to read stuff you would learn that they plan to offer expansions that you stick that into and you have a different controller.

It definately looks scary at first but it sounds like it might just work out.
According to the article you may be able to turn it sideways and use it like a nes controller. Thats so cool! It has attachable analog sticks too. So if the revolution can play old school games you can play them with a controller setup just like its original system. That gives it potential to play NES and N64 games.

One thing I'd like to note that I'm not happy about. Battery powered? Ewww.....

Its not confirmed if it will be rechargable or battery powered, thats just what they were using at the time. Like for example they didn't have the rumble in the wireless one yet because they are still working on the thing.

It's rechargable, so there's no need to worry about it so much.

Heh, You all are griping about it and you haven't even touched it yet. Lots of people bashed the GC controllers before it came out and it turned out okay. Give the new controller some time and play it yourself BEFORE you start complaining.

And there's also going to be shells that will resemble the older consel controllers too.

And the DS is not as bad as you make it seem Hammer. After all, no one can say no to free online gaming. =O

Well, the only thing I don't like is the batteries... I hate recharging, lol!
But the rest of it seems pretty good! Though, the button in the back should be the classic, "Z" button,  *shot*

Ow...
Anyway, the only REAL way to find out whether it's a good thing, or a gimmick, is by actually buying, and using the darn thing. :P

That won't work for the hardcore gamers who never sleep and game 24 hours a day
... Being serious though if you forget to charge it it would suck, you should be able to buy backup batterys though.

Im keeping an open mind about it. The idea seems like a good concept, but what really matters is how Nintendo, and 3rd party developers make games around it.It will either be a huge sucsess or a total failure. I don't think it will be in between.
With all the new developments they are making, its only a matter of time untill they make a system that actually puts you into the game(just like on tv). :veryhappy:

Rotate the controller to a 90 degree [horizontally]. Presto, NES controller.
