Who else loves DK Jungle Beat? I am sooooo totally addicted! The gameplay is awsome and fast-paced. Only nintendo could think of an adventure game that uses the bongos, and how cool is that. I mean, you clap to grab on to things, the longer you stay in the air the more combo beats you rack up, the bosses are totally 3D marvels. What more could you want?

I also made a desktop backround in 1024x768 resolution. I made it from a screenshot on the website, which wasn't very good quality, which effected the finished product. You can grab it here.

i like it, too. But you can have ony one file on each memory card. And the mic get's anoying. You beat both bongos to jump and it registers as a clap. Get's annoying, but i aggree :veryhappy:  THE GRAPHICS ARE AWSOME!

You can make it more or less sensitive to claps, another great feature!

I have never played it, but I liked Donkey Kong for the SNES. Do the new games still involve much swimming?

How well was the transition from 2d to 3d? Is the game play still as smooth?

I don't think its anything like Donkey Kong Country since it uses those nintendo bongos.

Theres tons of swimming involved in DK Jungle Beat! And it dosen't lose any of the thrill of the old DK. When I start up DK Country on my GBA in the car, I get the same amount of enjoyment.

DK Jungle Beat is about 100X better than donkey konga. It's actually an adventure game instead of a musical game. It's like taking a game like DK Country and adding Bongo control (Which makes you really feel the action,) and 3D-afying it.

The backround is a bit blurry though which is never a good thing.
