a WHILE back i played a bomberman game that would snap the characters to the grid...
meaning that you couldn't stand between an firelane and a clear space, it was one or the other.
this effectively disabled the frustration of getting blown up when you thought you were standing entirely in a clear space.

ive been going crazy trying to figure out which game this was, anyone know???

-thanks in advance

This could be any number of terrible and generic Bomberman clones. Lots of clone developers give up on figuring out how to program free movement and just restrict the players' movements to the grid. Could you describe anything else of note about the game?

that's all i remember.
i just wanted to play a bomberman game with grid snap.

i'm pretty sure i played it on a console circa early 90's, not a pc.
it had sprites, not 3d models, and was top down, not isometric perspective.
