So I don't wanna let this go too long again.....

------------- Results Fall 2013 -------------------

Wanna Be the Strongest in the World!
I got through 4 episodes and decided to drop it. Was not enjoying it much...

Outbreak Company
My sleeper hit of the season. Quite funny and though its premise was absurd it was handled in an interesting and serious way. Characters were good too.

Galilei Donna
I enjoyed it, but it was too short and felt rushed. Great OP song and character designs though.

Walkure Romanze
Started off kind of bad and I thought about dropping it early on but after a few episodes it got quite better and by the end I was enjoying it somewhat. I would've liked to see more of certain characters though.

Non Non Biyori
My fav of the season! A nice peaceful slice of life comedy. It has very pretty scenery and I loved the characters.

Golden Time
Enjoying this one a lot too! It's going another season.

Nagi no Asukara
The only show I'm still behind on... I've gotten up through episode 10 watched now so I'm getting toward the end of the first season. Its an enjoyable show, I was just in a slump for awhile and let myself fall wicked behind on it. I'm working on catching up now though.

~shorts~
Miss Monochrome
Quite a fun little show. I got some good laughs out of it.

Super Seishun Brothers
Another solid series of shorts.

-------------Winter 2014-------------

~Carry Overs~
Golden Time
Ugh the new opening song is awful. The first one was sooo good..... The show is still good though!

Nagi no Asukara
*EDIT* I'm caught up now. Awesome show! One of the best romance dramas in awhile so far! Great character development and P.A. Works animation is fantastic! It's a very pretty show. The 2nd season is where its really getting good now.

~New shows~

Engaged to the Unidentified
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10110
My early pick for favorite show this season. I absolutely love Mashiro! She's my current avatar. She's adorable and funny as hell! She's played by a brand new voice actress too and she's fantastic! A lot of the cast is relatively new blood, which has been interesting. They're doing a pretty good job for the most part. The main guy's voice takes some getting used to. I still don't really like his voice.

Nisekoi
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=9903
Shaft's show this season. Pretty good so far. Quite funny! New opening song by ClariS too which is always awesome. I love ClariS.

Sakura Trick
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=9922
This is definitely a pandering Shoujo-Aii fan service show, but it's damn good at what it does! So if that's something you dig jump right on board! Other then that it is cute and funny too. I like the supporting characters more then the main ones.

D-Frag!
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10011
My 2nd favorite right behind Engaged to the Unidentified. This show is absolutely hilarious and the assortment of characters are great too. I look forward to this each week and watch them almost immediately.

~shorts~
Seems I'm watching more of these each season!

Pupipo!
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10271
First one I picked up. A little odd but it's holding my interest. Art style is unique too.

Tonari no Seki-kun
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=9809
Funny little show. I love listening to Kana Hanazawa freak out all the time!

My big sister arrived
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10205
Not much to say about this one. It's solid to me. Art work has a neat style that I kind of like.

Wooser 2
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10038
Watching since I saw the first series. Mostly more of the same as the first season...

Still on Tamako Market, Dela and Midori annoyed me but I like Mochizou and that friend with bird allergies

Tried No.6- I like how the vibes are not in your face like actual Boys love are and the promising adventure plot

Attack on Titan- So far promising

I forgot if I ever said Cardcaptors Sakura but Sakura is so cuuuute and it's such a classic

Durarara is interesting but the headhopping is staggering

So looong I forgotten what I didn't mention

But anyways
Finished Tamako Market, it was okay enough, I'll wait for the Movie and watch that

Durarara is getting more exciting

Gossick is okay but that hero is one dumb moron a good deal of the time

I dunno why I watched Hoshizora E Kakaru Hashi for, the fanservice is quite high to an uncomfortable level especially on the OVA

Watching Parappa the Rapper now, ridiculously silly

Good evening folks

~Winter 2013/14 Results~

Golden Time
Ending was solid. Drama and Humor were fairly well balanced most of the time with the occasionally poorly placed segment. Overall I enjoyed this series though.

Nagi no Asukara
My previous opinion still stands. Great story that does take a little awhile to really kick off. Interesting world, themes and characters. Fantastic Animation and good ost.

Engaged to the Unidentified
Probably my favorite show this past season. Everything really played out nicely. Characters were great. A nice chemistry between them that was fun and relaxing to watch. I smiled and laughed plenty watching this.

Sakura Trick
If you like Shoujo-Ai this delivers big time. Don't miss it! It's funny too.

D-Frag!
This show was friggin hilarious! Easily the funniest I've watched in awhile. I'd say this was my 2nd favorite this season.

Nisekoi
First half has been great so far. It's ongonig into this season. Very funny, great characters. Looking forward to seeing how it develops. FFFPeeps is so far behind now though....

~shorts~
Pupipo!
This was interesting for how unique it was. If the odd art style doesn't turn you off it may be worth a look.

Tonari no Seki-kun
Funny little shorts show. This is ongoing too

My big sister arrived
Not terrible IMO, but forgettable...

Wooser 2
More of the same. Also forgettable.

Nandaka Velonica
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10423
Another series of shorts that came about toward the end of the season. It's very vibrant and colorful and kind of a kiddy show but I thought it was fun. I'm glad it was short though. I think if it were longer it would've exhausted its welcome.

____________________________________________________________

~Spring 2014 picks~

In addition to the ongoing Nisekoi and Tonari no Seki-kun I've also picked these up

The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10288
Watched the first 2 eps out so far and I like it. Though I think its one of those shows where your enjoyment depends on if you like the characters. I suspect a bit of romance further in but it's also possible that it will go nowhere. Either way I get some laughs.

One Week Friends
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10273
Looks like it could be a bit depressing, but if it keeps it's current format/pace for awhile I think it'll be light enough for me to consume easy (I'm generally not good with serious depressing stuff over time). I do really like it's art style and the main characters are likeable too! We'll see how it goes!

No Game No Life
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=9998
First ep gives me Dog Days vibes, except the main characters are siblings that kind of seem like douchebags lol. I'm curious to see more of what its gonna be like so I'm gonna watch a couple more eps.

Is the Order a Rabbit?
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10262
This will be my standard slice of life cute light comedy this season. I'm surprised it avoided my radar till the day it came out, as I love these types of shows.

Nanana's Buried Treasure
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=8864
Watched the first ep tonight. I liked it but it's hard to say much this early on. Great voice cast though. I'll have more to say after a few more eps I think.

Mekaku City Actors
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10360
New Shaft show. I haven't tried yet. I'm still waiting to see if I group I like will pick it up soon.

~short~

Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10398
Short comedy show with Yuri vibes. Not much else to say...

_______________________________________________________________

~Side Projects~

-Currently watching-

Doki Doki School Hours
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=1697
Recently bought these dvds. It's a nice school comedy for fans of this type of show. Similar to Paniponi Dash or Azumanga Daioh.

Angel Beats
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=6564
About 2/3rds done. Pretty good show. It takes awhile to start figuring out whats going on. Animation is by P.A.Works and fantastic as usual for them. I'm watching the blurays I bought.

-Recently Finished-

Summer Storm
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=6340
A Shaft show from about 5 years ago that I had been meaning to watch for awhile now. I really liked it.

Clannad and Clannad After Story
Fantastic series. Though at times during After Story I'd feel like rage quitting. Overall I still like Kanon (2006) the most out of the Kyoto/Key Visual adaptations now that I have seen them all. Kanon has the best balance of realism and contemporary fantasy for me whereas Clannad is more realistic and depressing and Air is very heavy on the Fantasy

Joshiraku
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=8899
Quite funny but very Japanese even with all the anime I watch soem of its jokes were still lost on me. Ending song is ridiculously catchy! Can't find an official version so I'll just link one of these game clips.

Good evening folks! It's time for another update from me in the increasingly quiet anime topic...

I wrapped up my shows from last season today and am raring to sink my teeth into some new shows tomorrow! So time for my excited post.

____________________________________________________________

~Spring 2014 results~

It wasn't as good as the Winter Season was but I enjoyed most of the shows I watched so I'm pretty happy.

Nisekoi
Awesome show! I loved the cast/characters and it ended quite nicely. Show was very funny too. I also loved Shaft's EVERY Girl is BEST Girl Plox in this show. Though if I had to choose my personal favorite its definitely Onodera with Marika close behind.

The Kawai Complex Guide to Manors and Hostel Behavior
I was thoroughly entertained til the end. Consistently funny show that does rely on you liking the characters to entertain you. Was one of my favs of the season.

One Week Friends
A calming show that was pleasant to watch, though the end left a bit to be desired IMO.

No Game No Life
Definitely the best show this season. Very exciting with a great premise and awesome main characters. Great animation with a neat art style I really liked. If you enjoy battles of wits you'll totally love this show.

Is the Order a Rabbit?
My standard cute girls doing cute things show. I always enjoy these. Fans of this type of show will be satisfied, but there's nothing special about it.

Nanana's Buried Treasure
Was a bit short so it didn't get to flesh itself out enough which is a consistent problem for many shows in the noitaminA programming block. Even so I still enjoyed the series.

Mekaku City Actors
Got to this toward the end. First few episodes are pretty confusing but I really started getting into it around half way through and enjoyed the story. Shaft's animation style really suited this well too which added to the enjoyment for me.

~shorts~

Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san
Guilty Pleasure

Tonari no Seki-kun
Quite funny and the eps are short. Recommended!

_______________________________________________________________

~Side Projects~

-Currently watching-

I started up the last TV season of Slayers, Evolution-R so that will be fun as usual!

Also picked Those who Hunt Elves back up which is a show I've been meaning to finish for years now after sampling it at a con awhile back. Goofy show with a ridiculous premise that you'd expect from the 90s.

-Recently Finished-

Recently finished the first season of Black Lagoon and that was awesome, excited to watch more.

__________________________________________________________

So let's talk about.....

~Summer 2014~

My likely picks are as follows...

Sailor Moon Crystal - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=9306
Long time Sailor Moon fan here, so I will of course be watching this and seeing how its modernized. Should be fun! I was really surprised they replaced almost the entire cast! Especially since a lot of them are still prominent voice actors. But the cast they selected are mostly all people I really like so I think it'll go well.

Sword Art Online II - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10376
I enjoyed a good portion of the first season but was becoming detached in the 2nd half. I'm gonna give this a try though and see how it goes. My favorite voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro is also playing one of the main characters so that makes me happy.

Hana Yamata - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10351
I didn't know a whole lot about this other then staff for awhile. Even the cast is fairly young/fresh (not a bad thing, I sometimes actually like that! (Girlfriend X, Engaged to the Unidentified)). Then a PV finally came out and after watching that I really get a good vibe that it'll be my kind of show.

Locodol - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10404
I haven't really gotten into Idol shows yet which have been increasingly popular recently but this one is being handled by Feel which is one of my favorite underdog studios and they've done alot of shows I liked alot more then I thought I would initially. So with that in mind I'm cautiously optimistic and hoping for another winner.

Jinsei - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10446
Watched a PV and my guilty pleasure senses are tingling again...
I apologize... I apologize to the whole world!!! This is also a show animated by Feel.

Glasslip -http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10506
Probably the nice Romance/Drama show this season. I tend to like this kind of stuff too.

Sabagebu! - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10041
At first I thought this would be one of those short eps shows but it appears its not so not I'm kind of on the fence but I still think I'm gonna try it out.

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10542
Not high tier, I'm on the fence but it may be worth a try. Gives me that feeling that it could be more interesting then the premise makes it sound. If I end up liking the characters that could probably be enough to give it a solid standing. Kinda like Yamada's first time or a show in that realm, where I liked it more then I thought I would.

And for more anime been too busy on video games lately
Hanasaku Iroha- nice slice of life, absolutely BEAUTIFUL sceneries(although too much lens flare) but opening is terrifyingly high pitched
Idolmaster- Some of the girls are very airheaded though but we'll see though it goes
Another- Meh not my type decided to drop after ep 2, the cutesy shiny art clash badly with the theme as well
Elfen Lied- Very violent and A LOT of nudity, I can live with the first one(although the art really brings it down to cartoonish level) but that second feels gratuitous
Atelier Escha and Logy Good although it seems to be mostly on the synthesizing, interaction and gathering parts and no battles yet
Blue Exorcist- Okay enough intro but we'll wait to see how it's like since the second chap of the manga seem to be mainly action scenes
Pokemon XY

I'm definitely interested in checking out Iroha at some point.

I wasn't a big fan of Another or Elfen Lied myself.

Not really digging the Idol genre anime stuff either. I'm watching one airing this season and I think its wicked boring. I may elaborate my opinion when I talk about this season which I'll be doing soon.

We've only got a couple weeks to go so I'll be wrapping up all my shows and picking new ones. I did great this season and didn't fall behind on anything even tho I picked up quite a few. So that post will be next.

~ In the mean time some recent stuff I've watched~

Spice and Wolf 2 - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=5406
Love the chemistry of the characters and the dialogue. Great show!

Kuromajo-san ga Tooru -http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=9020
Cute kids show. I'm starting to like these. Romi Park does Gyubid the witch and was great.

Rozen Maiden - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=2386
Finally got around to trying this out and really enjoyed the first season so I'll be watching more. Love the cast.

Those Who Hunt Elves 1 and 2 - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=79
A solid 90's show with a little bit of everything. When you read the premise its basically a what you see is what you get kind of thing. It's nothing special.

I wonder if I should can Idolmasters I seen 4 eps and most of the girl are obnoxiously ditzy, I'm pretty sure real idols put that on to entertain their fans but if people really behave like that I have to wonder how they operate their daily lives, I have to question Namco's decision sometimes

Forgot to mention 3000 leagues for beloved mother, good show so far, pretty Ghibli like(makes sense it is directed by one of the founders)

Edit: I decided to drop Idolmasters urg AKB0048 is way better

This topic is increasingly dead so this may be the last time I go into this much detail on seasonal stuff...

Pretty much done my summer shows. So here we go!

--------Summer 2014 Results-------

~ongoing~

Sailor Moon Crystal - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=9306
So far it's not too bad I think. It's basically just a modernized version of the old series. Some nice things are that it's got a slightly darker feel to it. There's also less filler so it moves along faster. I don't like the new art style as much as the old one though and the original series was a bit more charming. I'm also not crazy about the CG transformations either. I do like how they are nostalgic of the old transformations (almost all the same poses and movements but the CG is kind of ugly. All in all I think it's almost up to the par of the original.

Sword Art Online II - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10376
First half of this series has been pretty entertaining. Like how the first Sword Art was. We'll see what happens in the next arc though...

~finished~

Jinsei - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10446
I'm not quite finished up yet but my opinion has been consistent since I started. Funny enough this is the only show that went how I had expected and hoped. It's not amazing but I get some laughs and like the characters. It was not a disappointment like a lot of my selections this season were. Since its the cool thing I've seen people around doing I'll drop my character ranking in.
Sports>>>Art>Sciences>Humanities

Hana Yamata - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10351
Fairly good show, though I have to say I wasn't expecting it to be so drama heavy! A few of the characters also grated on my nerves in the first half, but it pulled through for me as a whole. Last episode was really nice too!

Locodol - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10404
Nothing about this show production-wise is all that bad, but I just found it to be boring as hell. After 3-4 episodes it became a chore to watch. Characters did nothing for me once it became apparent that they were always gonna act the same and kept making the same kinds of mistakes too. Some of them were annoying. I don't think the Idol genre is for me unless there's something else attached to it that will make it interesting for me, be it romance or maybe even mecha. I don't really dig these kinds of songs either and the idol characters themselves just come off as tools being used by everyone around them to me.

Glasslip -http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10506
Another disappointment. It was well animated at least! It's tries to do too much and the pacing was terrible. It was really confusing and often felt like its going nowhere with how much it jumps around. Overall it was watchable but mediocre. The end felt very inconclusive and unsatisfying.

Sabagebu! - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10041
A hit or miss comedy for me. Some of the episodes I really didn't like at all but I think it hit pretty well more often then it missed. So I enjoyed most of it. Favorite episode was the old people club they fought on the highway. lmao

Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10542
My big surprise this season. I wasn't too sure going in but after an episode or two I was hooked. Show is wicked funny and the characters/pairings are great! Really loved everything about this show. I looked forward to it every week. It was probably my favorite one this summer!

Barakamon - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10111
I picked this up late in the game. I was expecting a slow paced slice of life and was pleasantly surprised at how funny it is and how quickly it just flew by! Characters are wonderful too. Great chemistry. The little girl Naru provides tons of entertainment! So this was my other big hit. Almost as good as Nozaki-kun.

~shorts~
Himegoto - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10475
Added this half way through the season and it was pretty terrible. After a few episodes I was like "What the hell was I thinking?!?" Thankfully the short episodes allowed me to get through it...

Francesca - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10496
Goofy and kind of stupid. Animation is also meh. Not too far along in it, at 5 episodes so far cause there doesn't seem to be any sub groups keeping up on it.

-----------Fall 2014 Stuff----------------

Not much I was excited about this season. Plus I'm going to be working 3rd shift for Xmas again in a month or so. I have a feeling I'm gonna want a lighter season this time around so I can keep up. Onward!

~Most interested in~

Gugure! Kokkuri-san - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10530
Sounds fun and it looks like a colorful bunch of characters. It claims it's shounen but the character designs really look like they're pushing for a female audience. Either way I'm probly gonna think its funny.

Denki-gai no Hon`ya-san - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10619
Yeah the type of stuff I usually watch... Probably a guilty pleasure.

Danna ga Nani o Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10676
Looks very similar to something I enjoyed recently but with better art then that had.
http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10526
Short eps too.

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10539
One of the other few that has an interesting sounding story to me.

New Fate/Stay Night - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=9977
Since it's Fate/ I'll probly wait til this is finished airing like I usually do. Watching weekly does not work with big deal to me serious shows.

Hi Scoool! Seha Girl - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10592
This is probably gonna be terrible.... But SEGA! And... and... references!
If I get some Ben-To level Sega references I'll probly be content. Maybe.... *gulp*

~Only Maybes...~

Cross Ange - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10766
One a friend mentioned to me I may try. I don't watch stuff like this often anymore. The last full length TV Mecha series I watched was when I finally watched Macross F about a year ago... We'll see.

Inou Battle wa Nichijou-kei no Naka de - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10509
First show by Studio Trigger I'm close to interested in watching of all their offerings since Little Witch Academia. The premise itself sounds interesting, but I'd have to try it and see what it's actually going to be like first.

Ushinawareta Mirai o Motomete - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10372
I like the character designs, It's based off a visual novel, and I still like Studio Feel. Even after that boring crap Locodol. Speaking of which I wish FFF would finish up Jinsei already....

Shirobako - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10779
Maybe, I'm only barely interested... P.A.Works and a slice of life about working in anime industry..

Sora no Method - http://anidb.net/perl-bin/animedb.pl?show=anime&aid=10525
Also barely interested... I like the art/character designs.

I swear it's just Regulus and me left on this topic

Glasslip- Beautiful scenery but the pacing is haphazard and terrible
Anohana film-Okay film, most of it is a recap of the main series though
Nagi No Asukara- It'd be more of an exception than the rule if I did not say PA Work scenery is AAA+ but it's much better paced than Glasslip
True Tears- Still too early to tell but I will continue watching, basically about girls who gave away the ability to shed tears
Hyouka- KyoAni with mystery mixed with slice of life(mostly the latter) and very beautiful animation, their animation is always one of the best but this one is absolutely beautiful
Higashi no Eden- Interesting plot, nude guy running around nude half of the pilot not withstanding and a good dub
Shinsekai Yori- okay so far but we shall see as it progress

Yeah I enjoyed the Anohana film. I went to one of the U.S. premieres for it early this year with a couple friends. It was held at a small private theater in the Boston area called the Brattle. It was pretty nice but could maybe only seat 100-200 people. I went to see the 3rd Madoka movie there as well.

Anyhow, I think the Anohana film was a bit better then the TV series. The drama wasn't as overdone as the TV version was.

I've gotta get to Hyouka soon. I've been wanting to try it, and I've had it sitting in my anime folder for quite awhile now... ugh

Was really good, I loved it's mix of laid back with the depressive main char. May end up grabbing the mangas when a sizable amount are localized.

And I don't say much in this topic because I don't watch very much at all anymore.

Since I've been talking to HienFan and Regulus777 every now and then trough MAL. I felt a tinge of nostalgia and came back... and this place still looks the same XD

Now back on topic.

I still have yet to see the Anohana and the Madoka films. I've been putting those off for quite a while along with The Girl that Leaps Trough Time for some forsaken reason.
Also Jinsei subs are sure coming in late. I know that sometimes there is a lot of text but they could always summarize it.

Funny thing that True tears and Hanasaku Iroha are being mentioned. I just finished the first and I'm 4 episodes away from the second. Such good shows! I can't believe that these passed under my radar for so long. I do watch some that are obscure as a black hole so it's surprising. Oh there is also Death Note which I am also holding off to the last episodes because... eeeh. I dunno. Doesn't feel the epic show that I was told about... many many years ago. maybe Because it is old? It's not THAT old but still.

Oh yeah! I was surprised by the sudden return of Steins;Gate. Sure it is just some extra scenes advertising IBM but man you should have seen my reaction. And it still delivers so well even after all this time. It's amazing how I got so caught up in it that I couldn't stop grinning from start to finish of those lovely 3 minutes.

Last but not least there is 2nd seasons galore (also including SAO don't worry) Log Horizon, Hitsugi no Chaika, Psycho-pass and Selector Infected WIXOSS, which I have to add... that it's probably underrated for being a Card game anime. Believe me, it is so much more than that. And actually the actual battles themselves don't take more than 10% of the show, nor there is annoying display of wisdom from every character. It's just plain dark. Reeealy dark right until the end and the first two episdodes of the 2nd season are even better.

Oh man, you've gotta take a couple hours to watch The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. That goes for any fan of anime in general reading this that has not done so yet!

It's very good. I'd even say its a good film for non-anime fans to watch too. I think it's one of the best anime movies of its generation and it should start being considered more and more of a classic as the years will go by.

I remember enjoying the Stein's Gate TV series but was never compelled to check out the movie or any other extra materials. Since the specials are short and sound light-hearted I could probably see myself watching them.

I was never too interested in Death Note but that's probably just cause of my tastes.

Yeah that was a good movie. Loved how laid back it was. It was as good of a representation of summer as any anime I've seen.

I got my brother to watch it, though there's a few other anime I've got him to watch. He tried to get his (now ex) girlfriend to watch it, and she said "I don't even know you any more" and stormed off. Good memories. (my brother is a pretty hardcore computer nerd, so I honestly don't even know what expectations watching anime broke)

Girl who Leapt through time... It was a good film but of Mamoru Hosoda's film I like Wolf Children more

I swear that site is now logging me out everytime I scroll through pages after a few minutes instead of when I close the entire browser

Working on AKB0048, Hanasaku Iroha and Blue Exorcist at the moment, enjoying them at the moment

At WIXOSS- never heard of it until MegaTuga mentioned it here but cool, another card game anime

lol, yeah I personally enjoyed Wolf Children a bit more too. Both fantastic movies though.

While people would likely enjoy Wolf Children too if they give it a chance I do think The Girl Who Leapt Through Time has more casual appeal.

As for me I just finished GJ-Bu. I can't believe I missed this show when it was airing a year ago...

Funny Slice o'life show I really enjoyed. Finished it in 2-3 sittings. I loved the characters too. I thought they were well defined and had nice chemistry.

Watching a lot of stuff in my hard drive in one go so I can upload a watching date without getting logged out

Baccano- The predecessor of Durarara, I'm not sure if this kind of plotting is good for 13 episodes...
Haibane Reimei- Okay show so far, will have to see more to get a good idea
Hyouka- Very good animation and amusing, so far one of KyoAni's best animated shows and that says a lot
Phantom Requiem for the phantom- Action show with guns that is all I have to say
Love Live- No idea why I downloaded this for I'm getting bored with this and I'm just on the first ep, idol genres need more than just idols
Red Data girl- No idea what is going on here and the male lead is terrible(I despise most male tsundere) one of the more mediocre shows from PA works so far
K-On- Cute really catchy music, I love Mugi
Sora no Woto- Interesting story about girls working in an army residing in a town
Haruhi Suzumiya- The famous Haruhi series, it's alright
Sword Art Online 2- Finished season 1, might as well watch this one as well, at this point it is somewhat better than the freakin Fairy Dance Arc

ah fun fun.

I really enjoyed Baccano. Watched it a few years ago. Outside my usual taste range but I thought it was a fun, wild ride with a lot of bad-ass characters. Also Issac and Miria cracked me up!

I also loved Phantom, one of my favorite shows. 2nd arc (with Cal) is my favorite part of the series.

K-On - while all the characters have their own charms I'm in the Yui + Ritsu camps.

Other then the current season stuff I've picked up, I've just been watching an mixed assortment of OVAs the past couple weeks.

I thought first half of Sword Art 2 was great. Probably my favorite arc of the whole series so far. Haven't started the 2nd half yet though.
