anyone else besides me like to see archie do a comic adaption of the turbo-grafx & SNES bomberman games, as unlikely as that sounds?

No, because it would really suck.

Yeah, it'd probably start out really good, then it would get an issue entirely devoted to female bombers to eventually (well before exhausting the games' storylines) devolve into an unending cross-over with some other videogame series that has nothing to do with Bomberman, like I dunno, Metal Gear or something.

Probably wouldn't be very good. Hell, I'm a massive Sonic fanboy and I stopped paying attention to the Sonic comics over a decade ago. The mock-up cover made me lol though.

Nice art, hahah. I can't say that I ever read Archie Comics, though.

I have a small but nice assortment of some of the older archie sonic comics stuff.

I found them quite enjoyable. If you've seen and enjoyed the satAM sonic cartoon with the characters Sally Acorn, Bunny Rabbot, Antoine, etc. It features those characters and has a similar feel to that cartoon. It's much more mature-themed then the other older Sonic cartoons were.

I haven't read any of the material from at least the past couple years so I don't know if it has changed drastically. The artists and writers would occasionally change but I still found them enjoyable back then. My oldest issue is 18ish and my newest one is around 100ish, I did miss a lot of the older stuff along the way. The very early issues seemed very episodic though.

Anyway I'd recommend the older ones to hardcore sonic fans especially of the 90's era.

I read the Mega Man comics by Archie and they're pretty good. Sometimes the filler can be rather boring but it's interesting to see the character with a little more personality than in the games. I'd love to see some darker tones thrown in there.

On a side note, anyone else excited for the Sonic/Mega Man crossover coming up?
