This article focuses on Breath of the Wild, but towards the bottom it's mentioned that Super Bomberman R scored 30/40. Not that terrible, but also not that great. With that said, Famitsu has a reputation for being tough on games, so I think we can still expect a good time from SBR.

And here are a bunch more reviews. This game is not faring well with reception. The main grievance laid out is that people argue that the game lacks the content to merit the $50 price tag (or $40 if you got it via Amazon Prime). That and I've heard there are control issues.

I'm still getting the game (...whenever I get the Switch) as it meets my expectation, but the verdict from the gaming community is clear; gamers who want Bomberman but aren't die-hard Bomberman fans will wait for a price drop.

I just finished the game last night, and yeah, it's a super-short story campaign. With me taking notes and texting with BDR semi-regularly over the campaign, I beat it in under seven hours. Kinda relieved that other people were having control issues, since that was one of my major gripes -- I died a lot because I couldn't move my character the way I wanted to. Don't make the mistake I did of using the joystick, oops. But even the directional buttons took some getting used to.

...would people be interested if I made a separate thread to freely discuss the actual game with spoilers and such?
