Do you think Bombeman died with dignity when Hudson sank? Or will he come back one day? Or was his last bit of dignity destroyed by Act zero? I think he'll come back one day.

I believe it's more like limbo personally. I think in the right hands he could be revived easily.

The franchise could easily be revived, but it's up to Konami. It's unfortunate the only great Bomberman game to release in the seventh gen (Bomberman 2 for DS) never made it to America so many Americans have no idea he had a great game that gen before being killed off. Hudson Soft handled localization and business decisions so badly that it's remarkable they lasted as long as they did.

Ya know, maybe we should start a petition and send it to Konami to encourage a new Bomberman game? It couldn't hurt but I'm not sure how to go about that kind of thing.

A petition would be unlikely to accomplish anything unless the amount of people who signed it are of a large quantity. What would be the message exactly? "Revive the Bomberman franchise"?

"Bring back Bomberman or we'll be the ones to bomb you."

I'm sure it'll get their attention.

That already happened. Sort of.
