I didn't have any taken so I popped the game in and took some. It's hard to get good shots and play, not to mention catch anything before it's off the screen again. However, I managed a few decent examples.
Ivory, Star, Blue, and Jade.

It almost looks like Pretty Bomber is praying for the bomb to not go off in her face. :)
Hope that answers some of your questions. The replays can be saved for later viewing, so despite the game being in more normal classic graphics while you play, those who like the ultra shiny rendered bombers can have their fill as well.
