You're right it was 'ma' instead of 'mu', it was most likely a typo since I went over it real quick and thought about the english translation for it- which in english starts with 'mu' instead of 'ma'. I did that with another word while I was going over it, it's not like it was one of those things that would effect the outcome of the translation- and it sounded right so I didn't bother to double check or not rush translating.
While I was going over some english manuals though, I noticed how they named them differently. The NES one, atleast according to the one name seemed more accurate then the newer names for them.
