I've never seen the TV show, but in the games that I've played, Bomberman sounded a lot like a little girl. I think bombermon should have a slightly deep voice.... like a boy whose voice is in the middle of changing... just without the sqeaking. Know what I mean? I know he's supposed to be sort of chibi but I think the voice that I'm thinking of would fit him.... because it still sounds like a little kid but not REALLY little. He's Bomberman.

Tell me your views please

I think the voice suits him just fine. But, yanno, that's just me.

I know that in Second Attack, he was voiced by Houko Kuwashima, who also did Shirobon for the Bakugaiden series. As for the anime series, he was voiced by Tomoko Kaneda, and I actually had to get used to that voice in time, because it's a lot higher-pitched than in the games.

The anime voice was a lot like the voice used in the early 90's exsept not so shrill, i quite like it squeaky but given a larger role of speaking, it could become a pain in the arse, bit like mario

I just had this sudden image of Bombernan speaking with an Italian accent and throwing around mushroom bombs...

I like Bomberman's chibi voice! Mind you he'd still sound good with something a little deeper, but not too deep. He may be Bomberman, but I still see him as a kid, or at least a teen. It's like Rockman, he's not a man, he's a boy.

I always thought that the video game versions (except for the Jetters) is a teenager. But..... if any of you thought Shiro had a shrill voice in Jetters listen to this game's voice
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-uBzWqCon0 (The four characters are Shiro, Kuro, Ao and Midoribom) It's really really really squeaky and shrill (The highest in the entire Bomberman series)
PS There's also Bomberman Kart DX Only Kuro had a feminine voice there

I always thought his voice was robotic. You could get a similar voice from certain programs, although that was way before things like Vocaloid became mainstream. Easier to notice in earlier Bomberman games.
