I finally have a working computer again! for the past 2 weeks, my computer was all messed up and it took the computer guy forever to fix it. The sad thing is, It broke right after I bought Star Wars Battlefront 2.
I think there is a program in windows that makes it crappier as time goes on, so you have to sppend more money on them to have a functional computer.
Its finally back. I was starting to miss this board   .

Its not that its a program causing it but with some computers, I guess it depends on your computers parts and the operating system that your using, along with what you install. It can all effect how long it lasts intill your at the point where you should do a restore, for any of my current computers for example.. I would never do a restore or system erase, but with my old one that I had had for years it had to be done many times.

I tried using the restore,(safe mode) but it did nothing. When it logged on, I could see all my programs, but when I tried to use them It brought up the "which program uses this?" box.
I found a way around it. Using the run in the task manager, I found a folder that I could execute as a file(dont know how that happened) that let me into the explorer. From there all I could really do was use the internet and watch Bomberman Jetters(which isn't all that bad exept for the fact that I had no virus protection or firewall of any kind working)
I still don't know how they fixed it, but i think it was a virus. I have had problems with it before, but I thought I was gonna really have to format my hard drive that time. dodged a bullet there   .

p.s. the windows crapifier program was a joke that sounds much better in person.

Who doesn't hate computers? You gotta love them too though... Such a pain. You need them but they don't work good more often then not.

Can't live with em, can't live without them. That's why Id rather be a samurai. Dedicate my life to the sword, without having to deal with all these modern problems. Sadly, those days are long gone.

The computer that I used to use though got finished off by a virus, and I've had my own trouble at times with my newer computers but I fixed them all. You just have to be careful what you do and install.
