In Japan for Gamecube and Playstation 2, they had this Weird Smash Bros Clone in which Bomberman was one of the selectable characters, it was called Dream Mix Tv World Fighters, It's alot like nintendo's smash bros except this game has characters from several companies from Konami, Hudson, and Takera such as Simon Belmont from castlevania, Tyson from Beyblade, Optumis Prime from Transformers, Master Higgins from the Nes Adventure Island series, and many more.

Chances of this game making it to the states ate Zero Slim since Bomberman is'nt as Popular as MegaMan in the States.

Is it just Me or Do I see Mujo(Commander of the Hige Hige Bandits) as one of the Tournement Announcers in that game standing next to a pink hair girl in one of those screenshots?

I learned that from that Super Smash Bros. Melee hoax. I never bought an EGM magazine since.
