So Super Bomberman R must surely be considered a success then? I hope this means Konami will fund a proper sequel one day.

And hopefully they will revisit some of the more interesting gameplay experiments that Hudson tried out in their tenure.

So anyway, I guess the franchise has officially risen from the grave now. It's still not quite as alive as it was in it's heyday, but it's better than being outright dead.
