Hi, I'd just like to share a Bomberman Clone that I made during my Thesis for my BSCS course. To describe what I have used to create this game, the game is coded using Visual C# 2008 under Microsoft XNA Game Studio 3.1 with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 serving as the IDE. All graphics are presented in 2D format because I want my game to look classic.

The game itself is free so you can share it to anyone!

Here are some screenshots of my game:

You can download our game here for free via MediaFire:

Update: Download link set to private due to personal reasons. I think my game isn't much of a game after all. It's more of a "screensaver" to me, honestly.

Appreciated my efforts in creating this small, Bomberman-clone game? You can donate to our Paypal account here:

https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin.....4R3YYC9MDQ
Update: Paypal donation is closed due to personal reasons.

The game itself will install "Microsoft XNA Framework 3.1" during installation since this game is made using "Microsoft XNA Game Studio 3.1"

Hope you enjoy this Bomberman-clone game I created!

I'm just going to go ahead and be the jerk who calls this bluff. Your professors probably didn't believe you when you said it to them either. In other news, no one actually cares or minds that it's 2d, so you don't really need to defend the point.

Also, I don't mind you one-posting your game projects, despite the fact that I feel one shot advertisements adds little to the forum. One shotting solicitation of donations though bothers me a tad.

Reguardless, congrats on finishing your thesis, and your impending graduation, last years generally stressful, at least mine was. I did my thesis on collision detection algorithms (mostly because while I've done a few minor game design projects, and therefore the code side would've mostly been done, I felt it would be a really hard paper to write as it's too broad), though my (2 man) senior project was a quick and dirty game. I ended up writing 100 percent of the code for that in about 2 weeks, due to questionable class management, and my partner bailing on me at the last minute. Stuff like that tends to pile up, so I bet you're happy atleast this major part of your workload is done with.

I understand that posting a donation link here is a bit questionable and I was initially hesitant to do some solicitation here. The reason why I put a donation link on my post is because I and my partner needs to recover all money that we have lost not because of creating the game itself; it's because of the endless revisions for the thesis paper related to our game.

I decided to close the donation link since I found that the paypal link is utter useless and the fact that I will have a hard time converting paypal money into a tangible one.

To tell you honestly, I was not pleased on the outcome of the game due to the fact that I was forced to do it so that I could acquire my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. I found my game to be definitely a "quick and dirty solution" despite my professors saying that our game is good. I was not impressed by my own hard work honestly and I hope someone could give more real feedback on my game.

Hah, for my thesis only the paper was graded because a majority of the people on the board, 90 percent of them were math professors. I don't think my code was even glanced at, beyond my own demo with it. Honestly I still rushed the paper itself though, because I didn't really have time not to.
