I generally like multiplayer cognitive competition (dr mario, chess), but games which are meant to be simply entertaining can be fun also (donkey kong, nes mario 1 and 3). But I think the challenge is still the enteraining part of those games. Games involving teamwork are fun also, but I dont have many friends and I am too lazy to learn the games which are popular today such as Halo.

I hate games which invovle luck.

Why is that smiley even there? I like it too but, it sticks out like a sore thumb between the other smileys.

i play mostly "Multiplayer competition which has a large element of luck (such as the racing mode of mario kart 64 and some of the lesser bomerman games)" but i like "multiplayer competition requiring skill atained primarly through practice and experience (such as Halo )" more such as Counter Strike!! CS RULES!!

I like multiplayer games especially RPG kinds. I also like single player ones too.

Games involveing luck for me, when playing games like this with a large group of friends the outcome is mutch more amusing, some of you may have come across bomberman in the land of the pumpkins knocking about on the internet, utter pants but playing it with a buntch of mates got us kicked out of the libreary as we couldent stop laughing when someone made a daft mistake and got blown up

Games involveing skill suck, if you ask me snipers ruin every multi shooter game, whitch is why i prefer the simpler multi on Metroid Prime II to any PC or Xbox game

I like the single player aspect in games most, usually. Multiplayer features are very nice and they add replayability to games, but I would never really be interested in a game if I can't enjoy it by myself. Some genres such as RPGs attract me with their storytelling, while others such as greats as Super Mario Bros. 3 attractme with great gameplay.

You would absolutely love Tales of Symphonia. That game is so awesome. 4 player real time battles and an amazing cast of characters with great voice overs and a really really good story.

The question asks which is your favorite. I assume most of us like all of the apsects, so it is more interesting when given only one vote. It doesnt really matter anyway now that all of the regulars have voted.

A lot of other boards have more poll options. The polls can be public (it shows who voted for each), and there is the option of allowing each person multiple votes. Could you add these options here?

And i say all of the above because i normally find it hard to play a spacific type of game for more then a week strait,. rarely more then a few hours. I need them all... they're like me childrens.

Agreed (although I usually tend to play the same game for quite a bit of time. Regulus 777 should know, he's only my brother.)
