Say Sora, there's something I've always been curious about, concerning screenwriting.
Is there a method screenwriters use to know ahead how long (in terms of minutes) their script will translate into when filmed?

General rule of thumb is that a page of the script is a minute in filmtime - doesn't matter if it's mostly dialogue or if it's mostly action. If you want to check it out, the book I had for class (and which I just referred to for this question) was Screenplay by Syd Field.

Anyone ever got the feeling their opinion of something changes from fanfiction? I did

Take for example Xaldin and Vexen from Kingdom Hearts. At first I didn't like them but after reading 'Those Lacking Spines' I did

Ditto with Racer. At first he's my fourth favourite but thanks to what I'm writing, now he's my number 1 favourite Bomber (If Mach did appear in more than one game who knows though, too bad he only appears in Fantasy Race)
