The visor of his helmet is unshielded. Look from the sides, there's no visible glass there. Either that, or
1) The helmet IS his head and where the bottom of his visor connects to his face he has a mouth
or
2) He's an anime character and everybody knows that true anime anatomy/physics are virtually non-existent. |
