The Rockman X series doesn't even star Rockman and it's still named that, if you want to go further back.

Wait until Halo 3 and Gears of War come out. 360 will break records then.
And so will PS3, if only for the throngs of Final Fantasy fanboys (the fact that FFXIII's lead is a hot girl will help things as well, and those who just want a badass hero can go for Versus XIII and the guy who ripped off Gate of Babylon...). |
