I tried using the restore,(safe mode) but it did nothing. When it logged on, I could see all my programs, but when I tried to use them It brought up the "which program uses this?" box.
I found a way around it. Using the run in the task manager, I found a folder that I could execute as a file(dont know how that happened) that let me into the explorer. From there all I could really do was use the internet and watch Bomberman Jetters(which isn't all that bad exept for the fact that I had no virus protection or firewall of any kind working)
I still don't know how they fixed it, but i think it was a virus. I have had problems with it before, but I thought I was gonna really have to format my hard drive that time. dodged a bullet there

p.s. the windows crapifier program was a joke that sounds much better in person.
