Arrogant snob mode: I believe its very pretentious to label music as a certain genre. Instrumental music (non-crap) can be changed to a different "genre" by simply changing the timbre. A genre is simply an imaginary line drawn to seperate 2 groups of people who plagarize each other. There are 2 kinds of music: good music and music that sucks. Good music does not rely on genre cliches, good music is truly versatile and makes a whole new sound which hipsters have to think of a new name for.
