I cannot speak for everyone else, but the reason why I in particular have not responded to this topic up until now is because I have seen a lot of Bomberman clones that were never completed and a lot that were half-assed. I haven't really seen anything in this topic that I haven't previously seen in other discontinued fan projects. If there were something more concrete that I could comment on, then I would.

Also, as fireball has stated, most or all of the users on this forum who might be able to contribute to such a project are already working on their own projects, Bomberman-related or otherwise. I in particular am so busy with so many things that I cannot even find the time to finish the games that I currently have in development. You would probably find more interest in a development-oriented forum.

Hopefully this clears up some of the confusion/frustration.
