I'm no grammar Nazi or anything guys but that wouldn't do you much good. "Formally" is a real word so it's already spelled correctly.
Like let's say Bob was going to a fancy dance. He'd want to dress formally. Unlike how he dressed formerly, where he embarrassed himself wearing shorts and a t-shirt.
Something like that maybe... Though I'd probably use "previously" or "before" instead of formerly since they roll off the tongue easier for me. |
