Here's some quick advise, don't go with a cheap capture card- do your research and find a good main brand one that has good reviews. Because a few years back I bought some 3rd party one and it had terrible quality, I read bad reviews about a lot of main ones back then too. |
I second that. I got one cheap and it's decent, but it seems to not like old-school games much. If I want to record a game on something more recent like GameCube, Xbox, or Wii I don't really have problems, but if I'm trying to record SNES gameplay (my favorite system ever) I might as well forget it because there is "blinks" in the recording. It rarely happens on my more recent game gameplay videos, but when you're talking old school, it won't let me record any of my old games except Super Mario World so far. |
