Bah, you talk about jobs, you talk about money - you miss my point entirely. If you live out your life alone, by yourself, with your money and your pointless fancy house, then you are lost. Do you mean to say that you could be truly happy living out a life, completely alone in the world, the only living human, with nothing but your possessions? Could you keep developing games without anyone but yourself to play them? Surely you do not mean that. And how does that billionaire get his money? Without other people he cannot gain the money in the first place. But here we are delving into something entirely different. It should be obvious that I am saying that money, power, they are of no real value. People are the most valuable thing on this planet.
