I really didn't have a problem with Shadow in Sonic Adventure 2... it wasn't any different than any other character Sega just HAS to add in every game, and I thought having a "dark" version of the title character - though it sounds incredibly cliche' - would be an interesting story arc.
And then they decided to keep him. That way, Sega makes more money by attracting the kids to have their "super awesome, dark character," and all the emo pre-teens who think he "fits their soul." |
